It certainly came as a surprise to me when I heard that William and Kate Middleton had broken up. It seemed like the perfect love story. Everybody was waiting for the announcement of their engagement and then the shattering news that they had finished. All I can say perhaps it was all for the best very sadly for them both. But William is obviously very young and also |Kate. We do not want a similar situation that we had with Charles and Diana. William knew what happened to both his parents and he realized the heartbreak it brought. He does want this life to go the same way. When William is ready to marry I do hope he will find the right wife that he really loves and is happy with. She will be our queen and this time it has to be forever in their lifetimes. Has anybody any opinions on this?  |

I agree with you Pauline but I am not really surprised.William was very young when he met Kate.He needs to have lots of girlfriends.He has his whole life in front of him and whoever becomes his wife and eventually we hope his queen will taken on an extremely responsible and demanding role.She need all the luck in the world.Poor Diana! She did not have that chance.

I guess William is proving to be his father's son and history is repeating itself. I think he's going to regret what he's done. He's such a fool!
I feel really bad for Kate..who has been so discreet and classy in every way and stood by him for almost five years. But maybe it's a lucky escape from the dysfunctional RF and their snooty pompous hanger-ons. I'm sure Kate would be much happier leading a decent middle-class life than the debauchery carry-on in the royal circus.

Hi Everyone, Just to say I heard tonight that William & Kate are back together again. I don't know whether this is true. Maybe they are seen together because he has invited her to the Diana concert on Sunday. Anyway we will see.  |

I think that they are definitely an item. It seems like the break up was only staged in order to take the media's gaze off their relationship.
