The Diana Concert was a wonderful experience I am sure you were all watching it on tv. but I feel so privileged to have actually been there. At first we were sitting at the top but my husband managed to move us to the ground level so even though we were at the back of the crowd we were able to really get into the swing of things .I loved the musical tribute, especially the " 3 Josephs", and also the ballet. We also enjoyed Rod Stewart, Brian Ferry and Tom Jones.I found the little tributes to Diana in between acts very moving. If only Diana had been alive to see it. She would have been so proud of her two lovely sons William and Harry. It was a great idea of theirs to celebrate their mother's life in that way. They are so like her -fun-loving and compassionate.Well done to the two of them!

I echo Mary's comments .it was an awesome experience. All these people came to honour Diana and they say she is forgotten!!! Well all the people present at the concert wanted to remember her and really loved her. William and Harry did a great job. We really are proud of them. They showed they really adored her and wanted July1st to be a celebration of her life as it would have been her 46th birthday. All I can say is that I enjoyed every moment of it. The six and a half hours went so fast and I felt so honoured to be there too. One of our members Sheila phoned me at lunchtime to say she had just managed to get tickets so I was really pleased that she was able to go. I did not manage to see her because there were 60,000 people but I am sure she enjoyed it as much as Mary and I did.

Hi Friends, I hope all of you are enjoying our summer. It has arrived at last. As you know Mary and I went to the Concert for Diana on July 1st and afterwards I was so impressed by the concert that I wrote to the two princes William and Harry thanking them for organizing it and telling them that we felt privileged to be partaking in their celebration of their dear Mother's life. Today I received a very nice letter from their secretary thanking me for my my best wishes and saying how delighted Prince William and Harry were to receive my comments and support. I thought I would share my good news with you all.
