I was intending to go to London on Friday to take part and witness the commemorations that are going to take place that day.Unfortunately my mum had a bad fall a week ago and I have to go Ireland where she lives and see to her.Pauline will be going to London unless our mother's condition worsens. I will be watching what I can on tv and I will be with you all in spirit.

it is sad Mary that you won't be going to the 10th anniversary commemorations on Friday . I know how much you were looking forward to being there with me remembering Diana 10 years on. Thank you Margaret for sending us a copy of the service celebrated at the gates of KP by Father Gelli. I will certainly be there but unfortunately not Claire who has to work. I can see the whole service will be a fitting tribute to Diana our princess of Wales. I do hope we see many members of the DC there.

Dear Mary, sorry to hear the news regarding your mum and I would like to wish her a full and speedy recovery. Hopefully the weather will be good on the day and there will be a good turn out by DC UK members and others. I expect people will be going to where the official memorial is going to held.

Today is a significent day when millions around the world will be thinking about Diana. Many will remember where they were 10 years ago when they heard the tragic news of her death in Paris. Today we think of her Family especially her boys William and Harry. We should also remember her brother and two sisters at this very poignant time. When I stand at the gates of KP later this morning I will remember and pray for our dear princess that she now gets the peace she so richly deserves.
